Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions DX 10 Benchmark

Multi GPU scaling is impressive. Both nvidia and ATI Hardware are performing well here. You can also see that CPU frequency is not an issue. GTX 480 TRI SLI gains around 10% FPS going from 2.67 GHZ to 3.9 GHZ.

ATI cards have always been disappointing when it comes to Crysis, and 5970 is no exception. Nvidia cards on the other hand scale extremely well. Look at the way TRI SLI is affected by the CPU! Even at 4.3 GHZ and at 83 FPS, it seems like one could overclock the CPU even more and see some FPS gains! Since the GTX 480s performed so well at the tested settings, I decided to crank up the image quality to enthusiast settings and see what happens. I didn't bother doing this with the 5970s since they were already performing so poor. The results are on the next page.
