Far Cry 2

   

The developers of the original Far Cry, Crytek were not involved in the development of Far Cry 2. Far Cry 2 was developed by UBISOFT Montreal and published by Ubisoft. A brand new game engine called Dunya (meaning "earth" in Arabic, but also used in many other languages, including Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi) was specifically built to suit the game's open ended African based setting and visuals. It includes gorgeous DX 10 affects like Dynamic Weather with complete day/night cycles, Real Time Fire Propagation influenced by weather, and Radiosity (Indirect Lighting).
