I was quite surprised to see how going from 3.8 GHZ to 4.2 GHZ on a QX 9650 had zero impact on the FPS, yet an I7 at 3.8 GHZ yielded over 7 % gain. There was a point in the demo where frame rates would dip to early thirties (only for a second though) with the QX 9650. With the I7, they never went below 45. Impressive stuff!
