Photoshop has a tonne of features that utilize CPU horsepower. For this test I created a small Photoshop file and performed "Radial Blur" feature on it. The time it took for the action to complete was recorded and compared. QX9650 is faster by about 25% !
Tech Arp X264 benchmarking tool is a nifty little program to becnh test your system's HD video encoding capabilities.
In TechArp's own words "Simply put, it is a reproducible measure of how fast your machine can encode a short, HD-quality video clip into a high quality x264 video file. It's nice because everyone running it will use the same video clip and software."
