RESULTS
The scene that I tested here with FRAPS was just outside Vault 101, in the Capital Wasteland. I was expecting this title to show some dependence on RAM and I was right. The slope at 1920 X 1200 is higher than at 2560 X 1200, showing more RAM dependence at 1920 X 1200. It is interesting that not only Frequency, but also RAM timings have an effect on the FPS in Fall Out 3.
This is Far Cry 2's built in "Ranch Small" demo. Once again high speed RAM is showing its benefit here. Frequency seems to be more important than timings though and 1920 X 1200 seems to be the more RAM bottlenecked resolution of the two.
